The new Road toll in Estonia (from 1 January 2018)

From 1 January 2018, it is required to pay Road toll (Road User Charge) for all heavy goods vehicles that weigh over 3.5 tonnes and are used on the public road network. The time-based road toll will need to be paid before the vehicle enters the country.

In addition to the heavy goods vehicles registered in Estonia, the heavy goods vehicles registered abroad will also be obligated to pay the road toll. The toll rate depends on the maximum authorised mass of the heavy goods vehicle and its trailer, the number of axles, and the emission class of the heavy goods vehicle.

Road toll should be paid before proceeding to the road electronically by any Bank card or using the bank links for direct payment. Additional information (Rates, Road netowrk, Payment and Regulations) is available here: https://teetasu.ee/info
